Rhys Bassett - Guitars & Backing Vocals
Rhys is a fantastic all round musician. Rhys passed his Grade 8 Drums & Guitar at the age of 15 and adds youthful exuberance to the band. Heavily influenced by Chic's Nile Rodgers and Prince, Simply Red's back catalogue perfectly shows of Rhys's funk credentials.
Dafydd Davies – Drums and Backing Vocals
Another superbly talented young musician who passed his Grade 8 Drums at the age of 15. Heavily influenced by the late, great Buddy Rich, Dafydd is a much sought after session musician and a member of the critically acclaimed Mark Pontin Group.
Alun Walters – Bass Guitar
Alun is the Godfather of Bass. Alun is in great demand as a session musician. He’s been playing live with Red Mick for 24 years! He’s also part of the award winning Mark Pontin Group and is a Blues Award Nominee.
Steve “Nelly” Nelson – Piano/Keyboards/Musical Director
Nelly has been playing piano since the age of 6. He is classically trained and has represented the UK for Yamaha across Europe. As well as playing with Red Mick he is a member of Abba Fever and the country’s leading Queen Tribute Band, HRH.
